Logging Hours...

So, for this project that I'm doing, I have to log 100 hours of doing my radio show. That can be anything with my radio show. I log when I plan, my actual time on the radio, when I've helped the radio station with different events, and when I went to shadow at a major christian radio station. By the time last Thanksgiving came around, I was up to 50 hours. That felt really nice to be at the halfway point. Last summer I was really good at logging my hours right after every show. This year...not so much. I think I've gone three shows without logging. I really need to get back into that habit. See, there might be a reason behind me not wanting to log. I've had two things for which I needed to log hours. In the state of Pennsylvania, they require teenagers with their learners permit to log their driving hours until they get up to 50. So from October to May I was logging all the driving time I could. I was so happy to be done loggin hours in May, I guess I just don't want to go back for my Senior High Project. However, I have to do so. I guess I know what I'll be doing tomorrow morning.

Welcome to the Squeaky Show!

Hey everyone! My name is Abby, and i have a radio show with Messiah College radio. I started my show three years ago, and just do it during the summer. ever since last summer, it has been a project for high school. I have to complete a Graduation project in order to...well...graduate. as I said, started last year and did half of my 100 hour requirement. then this summer i'll get the other half. during my junior year, which is next year, i'll present my project and write a paper about my project. So I get to log all my hours and analyze how i've grown as a radio personality. all that sort of thing. My show is on Wednesdays and Fridays from 1-3pm. if you live in Central Pennsylvania, you might be able to listen on 90.7. if not, since your online anyways, head over to www.messiah.edu/wvmm and click on the listen tab. I'll be playing a great veriety of Christian music.
