The wonders of radio
Well, just 17.5 more hours to go. Yesterday's show went okay. well, maybe not. probably to the average person who realizes there's a 16 year old running the show, it probably sounded just fine. but i have a long ways to go before i'm professional. once again, i accidentally tried to play a certain CD in CD player #1, but that CD doesn't work in CD player #1. oh well, that gives me practice talking while preparing something to play. so i let all my listener's listen to Chonda Pierce talk about giving directions. so there were a few seconds of dead air. and i've been so good at not having any dead air too. i guess it's like driving stick shift. when i first began, i stalled out all the time. but then it finally got to a point where i only had problems with hills. now, i'm pretty much okay on whatever kind of road. but i still stall out once in a while. even my parents stall out, but that probably doesn't even happen once a year. so as i keep driving stick shift, i'll stall out less and less each time. same goes with radio, when i first started i had dead i haven't here and there. but now i've been doing this for awhile, so i know how to keep things going and not have dead air.
the show before last, on last wednesday, was cool. i was kinda in a bad mood, and when i'm in a bad mood, i need to listen to some Chrsitian rock, and that makes me feel better. so i decided to make my show mostly rock. it was awesome. and it helped get some energy out because i got to bounce around the control room while the music was playing. i could swish around my hair however i wanted, and none of it really mattered. i haven't really done something like that in a long time. i just don't play any screamo stuff, that's the limit i have. even on friday, i played some more rock stuff, but not as much. but i still had stuff i needed to get out of my system.

You know, I've watched quite a few un-suspecting DJ's dance around from the recording studio down the hall...It's pretty funny to watch.
it probably is. the nice thing is during the summer the only other person that's there is the station manager. and he doesn't usually go into the recording room. and my version of dancing probably isn't quite what other people would think of.
